What equipment do you use to create your digital art?

2021-Present: Samsung Tab S7 + S-pen / Wacom MSP 2016/ Pro Macbook M1

From 2013 to early 2018, I was using my Samsung Notebook (2011? model) with a Wacom Bamboo Sketch which is just as old.

When my laptop crashed, I went and got a Wacom Mobile Studio Pro 16 which I used as my main PC and drawing tablet from 2018 up until 2021.

What program do you use to draw/paint?

Currently, I draw with: Krita ver 5.0.2 / Autodesk Sketchbook Mobile.
I use Affinity Publisher, Apple Pages, Canva, Adobe Lightroom, and PhotoscapeX for any design work, photography, or book editing.

Up until late 2020 to early 2021, I was strictly learned in Adobe so I use Adobe CC for all my drawings. I’ve tried Gimp before and sadly found the learning curve to be steep. I know a lot of artists have said it’s easy to use but to each their own.

What camera do you use to film or photograph your art?

Canon DSLR Rebel T3i, Samsung S6, Samsung Tab S7

I interchange between them depending on what is available or convenient.

What program do you use to record your YouTube videos?

I use the all-favorite open-source OBS Studio or the screen record on my Tab S7

With a bit of tweaking back in 2017-April 2020 due to compatibility issues with Wacom MSP, the program works like a charm. It works very well now thanks to their new update I guess.

What programs do you use to write your manuscripts/ stories?

For novels, I use uFocus, Google Docs, Apple Pages, Notes, and Grammarly.

For my comics, I use Affinity Publisher and Photoscape X. I also use Canva for promotional media.
